Our History

The Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker Foundation honors and continues the legacy of the Loker-Bogdanovich family. For over eight decades, the family’s philanthropy has supported programs designed to open new doors and serve a wide range of communities across the socioeconomic spectrum. Inspired by Donald and Katherine’s generosity, the Foundation today extends its commitment to bettering the lives of California and New England residents by supporting impactful educational, medical, and environmental causes.

 
 

 
 

Our Leadership

Deborah Loker Hicks is Chairwoman of the Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker Foundation. She also serves on the boards of several institutions, including the University of California Berkeley Foundation, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, Center for the Blue Economy, and Farming New Orleans. Deborah holds a B.A. in Art History from University of California Berkeley and an M.A. in French from New York University.
